"Partnership" program will be launched in Samara Oblast since mid December 2001 with USD 3 000 000 allocated for the project implementation. This was agreed during the meeting between the Samara Oblast Governor Konstantin Titov and deputy head of US International Development Agency Kent Hill.
Three year program provides for the cooperation with NGO sector. K. Titov thinks that cooperation with American partners is to be carried out primarily in the scope of civil society, anticorruption, environmental protection and small business development.
