Samara Oblast Governor shall enter upon his term of office from the moment of his solemn oath having been pronounced by him. The oath shall be taken at the first session of the Duma of Samara Oblast after the date of his election being confirmed, but no later than on the 30th day from this date.
Samara Oblast Governor shall swear the following oath:
"In exercising the powers entrusted to me by the multi-national people of Samara Oblast, I swear to protect the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, to observe the Constitution and laws of the Russian Federation, the Charter and laws of Samara Oblast".
